ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES | |
· Perform audit/inspection on incoming and outgoing equipment and approve or reject based on conformance requirements. · Ensure that non-conforming materials or products are documented, quarantined, and remediated as applicable. · Perform testing and update of related documentation, where necessary. · Utilize and maintain QA EHS Insight quality and safety reporting and tracking system. · Interpret blueprint documents, determine gauge methods, and participate in final disposition of discrepant material. · Monitor and evaluate the conformance of statistically controlled processes, where applicable. Assist with resolution and root cause analysis. · Maintain and calibrate electrical and dimensional measuring and testing equipment. · Skillfully and accurately use all inspection gauges and instruments, including set-up, analysis and adjusting. · Work directly with engineers, supervisors, and other personnel regarding various service center or field quality issues. · Maintain all quality assurance documentation. · Assist in the audit of standard operating instructions. · Works with service center employees (operations & inventory) to ensure understanding and adherence to written processes and procedures. · Personally observe safety and security procedures and proper use of equipment and material. Actively promote safety process and report any safety issues to proper channels for action. · Other duties as required. | |
HSE AUTHORITIES | |
· Have the authority to stop work in case of observing any unsafe act or unsafe conditions (Stop Work Authority). · Stop activities in the event of an emergency that affects human health and safety or will affect the environment. · Stop any non-controlled activity that represents a hazard for employees. | |
REQUIRED EDUCATION | High School Diploma or equivalent required Bachelor's degree in a closely related field preferred |
EXPERIENCE | 2+ years of Quality assurance/Control experience required. |
TRAINING | All company standard required HSE training and certifications. NFPA-70E |
SKILLS | Proficient computer skills with knowledge of MS Office and/or company specific databases. Ability to work well under stringent deadlines and possess good organizational skills. Must be familiar with ISO: 9001 requirements Working knowledge of the Gagemaker System and related software. Familiar with the operation and use of inspection measuring devices (i.e. calipers, micrometers, comparators, bore gages, electrical multimeters, meggers, etc.). Must be familiar with quality practices and procedures, (i.e. sampling plans, tolerance, functional testing, and visual inspections). Comfortable reading blueprints and customer related drawings. |

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS | Normal office environment and exposure to plant environment during the course of normal job duties Occasionally required to move about the facility Occasional travel and On call required Wears appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection, safety shoes and hard hat, where required, while in shop environment or on job site. This is a safety sensitive position. |
WORK SCHEDULE | As per US labor law & Levare US work schedule. Be on call and work holidays and weekends when needed. |
