REGISTERED NURSE - POST ANESTHESIA CARE UNIT (RN - PACU)
RN - PACU
Full-Time
SIGN ON BONUS OFFERED:
- less than 2 years experience, $10,000.
- Over 2 years experience, $25,000.
- 2 year commitment in order to receive full bonus.

REGISTERED NURSE - POST ANESTHESIA CARE UNIT will have the following job responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of the nursing process in the peri-operative setting.
- Monitor the patient's medical condition and report any significant changes to the physician or anesthesiologist/CRNA.
- Explain nursing procedures and actions taken to patient.
- Assess, collaborate and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge with other members of the care team.
- Manage hemodynamic monitoring.
- Titrate pressors, sedation, heparin, insulin drips based on protocol.
- Instruct patients in self-care techniques following the procedure.

REGISTERED NURSE - POST ANESTHESIA CARE UNIT must meet minimum qualifications:
- ADN Required
- BLS
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Trauma level recovery
