REGISTERED NURSE* - Baptist Health Care

The Registered Nurse manages individualized, goal directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. This position provides assistance to physicians in all patient related activities, including continuous EKG monitoring, medications, IVs, oxygen therapy, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The person in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.

• ASN degree or Nursing Diploma required.
• One year clinical nursing experience is required.
• Current Florida State RN licensure required. BLS and ACLS through American Heart Association is required. NIH within 90 days of employment/transfer. RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) or Certification with NASPE (National Society Pacing Electrophysiology) or CCRN or CNOR or CEN is required within 18 months of hire/transfer.
