POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for providing strategic partnership services to hiring leaders at all levels across restaurant operations and for representing the brand to the external market in a professional, driven and proactive manner to promote our employment value proposition.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports the timely hiring of restaurant level talent by ensuring that the organization has the necessary resources to achieve its business objectives. Creatively leverages recruiting and sourcing tools to research, identify, source, interview, select, verify, negotiate and onboard candidates for all levels.
Drives quality hiring outcomes by utilizing a data-driven recruitment strategy through an understanding of critical components of functional business results; proactively identifies potential hiring needs and role expectations; demonstrates knowledge of the internal and external labor markets, and influences two-way partnerships with hiring leaders by establishing trust, expectation setting, probing inquiry, and priority management. Conducts behavioral based interviews with candidates to determine knowledge, skills and abilities compared to job scope and requirements. Evaluates candidate fit to the restaurant or region needs and make recommendation to business leaders based on these interviews.
Proactively establishes relevant internal and external business relationships to facilitate referrals, gains cross-functional business knowledge, and promotes employment value proposition. Anticipates roadblocks in the restaurant ops recruiting process and proactively reaches out to operations leaders to fix issues. Acts as a subject matter expert on restaurant recruiting to guide and partner with restaurant operations leaders for success.
Leverages effective verbal and written communication skills to drive value from internal and external partnerships (i.e. external placement agencies, skill-based membership organizations and internal business leaders) in an effort to manage the recruitment timeline and achieve performance deliverables.
Provides a positive candidate experience by working to understand the candidates needs/interests, provides valuable and accurate information, and engages them in timely feedback. Leverages recruiting interactions to educate candidates on brand. Maintains high standard of discretion to ensure confidentiality of personal data of both internal and external candidates and required business information.
Performs data entry into ATS and manual tracking system required to produce and monitor personal and team recruiting metrics to ensure efforts are meeting performance standards for timeliness, productivity and quality. Regularly provides personal and organizational feedback on talent acquisition process, tools and engagements to department leadership. Pulls and utilizes ATS reports to determine how restaurant management recruiting behavior is affecting the overall recruitment strategy success.
Suggests opportunities for improvement based on feedback.
Drives cost containment through delivery of results via low or no cost channels.
Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned and directed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education - Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
Experience - Minimum 1 year recruitment experience. Prior experience with high volume recruiting strongly preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment techniques, sourcing strategies, tools, and resources
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws utilizing applicant tracking system and resume databases preferred
Bilingual, English and Spanish required
Excellent oral and written English communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills; good presentation, interviewing, and organization skills
Working knowledge of personal computers and MS Office Suite
Competencies in the areas of cold-calling, networking and direct sourcing
Exercises independent judgement and effective time management skills
Demonstrates a customer first mindset, integrity and ethical behavior
Physical Requirements - Ability to speak/hear clearly in person and on the telephone. Ability to operate a computer, i.e., desktop, laptop, tablet, etc. Ability to travel occasionally as business needs require.

The range for this position is $65,900 - $92,300 and is based on an employee located at our corporate headquarters in San Diego. If the candidate is hired in a different city to work remote, we will apply a geographic pay differential based on the cost of labor in the market in which the employee resides.
