JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for day-to-day operation of the Revenue Management office to maximize revenue and insure customer satisfaction while maintaining accurate hotel inventories. Focuses on achieving revenue goals while maintaining customer satisfaction by overseeing all aspects Revenue Management systems (Marsha, One Yield, Delphi, PMS) and providing leadership to Revenue Management associates. Organizes efforts between sales, revenue management and the front office to promote a cooperative work environment. Identifies future opportunities and effectively communicates strategies to the sales organization.

JOB SPECIFIC TASKS
- Provides inventory management duties to ensure Marsha / Delphi / PMS / One Yield are maintained to ensure revenue maximization
- Ensures that the hotel(s) sales strategies are effectively implemented in the reservation system and the inventory system
- Monitors transient and group inventory daily to ensure straight-line availability and maximization of revenue
- Proactively develops and manages internal key stakeholder relationships
- Provides recommendations to improve effectiveness of revenue management processes
- Coordinate the needs of the guests and other departments within the hotel to guarantee quality service and satisfaction while being consistent with the hotel’s overall budget and revenue goals
- Prepare revenue and profit opportunity analysis
- Oversees the day-to-day operation of the property Revenue Management office to maximize revenue and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining accurate hotel inventories. Coordinates the needs of the guests, special corporate clients and other departments within the hotel to guarantee quality service and satisfaction that is consistent with the hotel’s overall budget/ revenue goals and overall sales strategy
- Trains and leads on-property Inventory Managers and Inventory coordinators
- Organizes efforts between Sales, Events Reservations and the Front Office to promote a cooperative work environment
- Acts as a liaison between the hotel and the Miami Reservation Center
- Run reports through Delphi program, convention forecast, booking pace, and sales productivity (period end)
- Participate on lead review meetings with Sales & Marketing team
- Shop competitors to evaluate possible changes on price strategy
- Participate on Sales Strategy and Period End meetings
- Perform other duties, tasks and special projects as required, assigned or directed with or without accommodations.
Sales
- Works with the sales strategy leadership to determine sales strategies and ensure this is communicated to market sales leadership, marketing communications teams and property leadership. Attend/lead sales strategy meetings to provide input on weekly and overall sales strategy
- Recommend and maintain proper pricing, positioning and inventory for transient, group, catering, function space and audiovisual.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years’ experience in the revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
OR
- 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years’ experience in the revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
