**This recruitment offers a $10,000 Signing Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine** \#UWMRecruitmentIncentive **UW Medical Center - Montlake** has an outstanding opportunity for a **full time (100% FTE, 40 hours per week), night shift ASSISTANT NURSE MANAGER (Registered Nurse 3)** to join the Medical Oncology ICU. The Assistant Nurse Manager will provide direct nursing care, train and manage staff, spearhead quality improvement initiatives, and ensure safe patient care practices.
**SCHEDULE:**
40 hours per week, night shift.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Establishes and maintains credibility as a leader of day-to-day operations
+ Oversees staffing
+ Provides leadership for clinical and administrative functions
+ Develops, coordinates, and maintains various work processes that ensure successful department function
+ Promotes effective communication among staff and patients
+ Identifies staff and resource problems and takes necessary steps toward problem resolutions **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**
+ 2 years of current or ICU nursing experience
+ Previous charge, lead, or supervisory nursing experience
+ An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington
+ BLS **DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
