Nurse Manager-Sub Acute

Parker Jewish Institute is seeking a full time Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Manager to join our team of professionals in the Nursing department in our sub-acute division. The Nurse Manager reports to the Clinical Director of Nursing and is responsible for care given to the patients by the nursing staff. This is a key leadership role, providing leadership, staff support and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure that standards of quality care are achieved on a consistent basis.

Qualifications:

• New York State RN license
• BSN or BA in Nursing or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as an RN in a medical/surgical, rehab or long-term care environment
• Prior Supervisory or Management experience a plus
• Demonstrated leadership ability; ability to lead teams and empower staff
• Communicates effectively with others; is cooperative and helpful
