About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Case Manager **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Not specified **License:** Registered Nurse **Certifications:** COVID-19 Vaccine (Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations allowed), Flu Vaccine (Status Unknown) **Must-Have:** - Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) of employment total within the last three years within a comparable specialty/setting that they are booked. - Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD). - Competence in arranging DME, SNF, and ambulance transport independently. - Ability to participate in the development of the treatment plan and protective services process. - Ability to float between all facilities within a given state. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours. **Job Description:** - Participate in rotating weekend coverage as expected. - Collaborative efforts in organizing and participating in family meetings. - Proficiency in working with HMO and IPA systems. - Involvement in the admission criteria using InterQual. - Familiarity with drug/alcohol abuse treatment options. - Experience working with patients experiencing homelessness. - Knowledge of managing patients with mental health histories or in crisis. - Understanding of advance directives and POLST. - Awareness of adoption/foster care systems. - Orientation hours are non-billable, totaling 40 hours. - Completion of mandatory training modules pre-start and annually. Time spent on modules is self-reported and recorded in Workramp transcripts. Modules are non-billable and average 16 hours spent, with any over 20 hours requiring approval. - Provision of communication devices, within the requirement scope, to perform assigned duties at no cost to the provider or agency.
