Cath Lab OpportunitiesOur Cath Lab is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Cath LabShift/Schedule: FT/DaysCandidate Requirements: Must have 2yr recent, full time Cardiovascular ICU/CVICU RN experience. Cath and/or EP Lab RN experience is a plus. RN Leadership experience (Charge or higher) required. Patient Population: Adult Cardiology, Electrophysiology and Vascular patients.Patient Ratios: Cath/RP team comprised of RN s and Rad Techs working in 3-4 person teams to manage procedural patient care, collaborating with the proceduralist and anesthesia providers.Number of Beds: 5 total invasive cardiology labs, including 2 electrophysiology labs.Department Specifics: The BHVH Cath/EP Lab, working in conjunction with Baylor All Saints, is the only hospital in Tarrant count providing a full spectrum of Cardiology services, including LVAD, ECMO, E-CPR, TAVR, MitraClip and advanced heart failure programs. Over 1800 invasive cardiology procedures per year and over 800 electrophysiology and cardiac implantations per year. Your goal is to promote positive outcomes for patients and staff by fostering partnership. Your day involves overseeing operations and productivity. You assist the Nursing Manager with planning, developing, and evaluating policies. You also manage budgets and resources. Additionally, you manage quality improvement initiatives and organize educational programs. You will help with administration and provide hands-on nursing care as needed. The goal is to meet department and organizational priorities. What You'll DoCreating a good work environment that promotes evidence-based practice and research leads to better patient care.Collaboration with a diverse team is crucial.Practice changes are guided by quality improvement initiatives rooted in evidence-based practices and research findings.
