RN - Director of Patient Services/Director of Nursing - Glades Talent

Glades Talent is working with a standout Home Care Company looking to fill an RN Director of Patient Services role for their Manhattan office.

The RN of Patient Services will supervise the Field Nurses and Home Health Aides as well as make periodic nursing assessments to review and revise procedures to meet the NYSDOH standards as necessary. The DPS will also train new hires, conduct in-services and perform client assessments as needed.

Position Qualifications:

• Experience in Home Care
• Ability to work independently
• Valid New York State RN License

Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities:

• In office role
• Manage the development of educational programs through in-service and continuing education programs
• Responsible for quarterly review and maintenance of accurate records in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training and orientation of new nursing staff and all HHAs
• Develop a plan of care for clients and assist nursing and other staff in the implementation thereof
• Supervise, coach and support staff and HHAs responsible for the implementation of the designed care plan
• Responsible for review admissions and implementation of the care plan, ensuing that are within the scope of home health regulations
• Required experience 1 year in Homecare, and strong knowledge of LHCSA regulations.
• Must be familiar with current NYSDOH standards
