Responsibilities

UofL Health – Jewish HospitalLocated in downtown Louisville, internationally-renowned Jewish Hospital is a 462-bed hospital known for its numerous medical firsts in Kentucky, in the nation and throughout the world. The first four hand transplants and the world’s first and second successful AbioCor™ Implantable Replacement Heart Transplant were performed at Jewish Hospital, which is also federally designated to perform all five solid organ transplants.

UofL Health – Rudd Heart & Lung CenterRudd Heart & Lung Center is one of the leading centers in the region for comprehensive cardiovascular care. For more than 25 years, the surgeons and staff at the center have had their fingers on the pulse of the latest advances in heart care. Rudd Heart & Lung Center leads the way in developing new technology and in training physicians from around the world on leading-edge techniques.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky
• Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Associates’s degree from accredited college or University

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited college or University
