About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Labor and Delivery **Job Duration:** 14 Weeks **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) **Guaranteed Hours:** **Experience:** Minimum of 3+ years; Unit accepts first-time travelers **License:** GA License or Compact license required **Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM, AWHONN Intermediate (Advanced Preferred) **Must-Have:** Compliance with all requirements prior to start **Job Description:** - Care for adult and neonatal patients. - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2. - Occasionally float within Women's Services within skillset. - Maximum of 7 days of requested time off. - Work requirements include weekends and holidays based on assignment period. - Major holidays may include Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. - Full compliance needed for an on-time start; non-compliant start delayed by 2 weeks. - A minimum of two supervisory references required; must be managers or above. - Candidates must submit core items and complete necessary tasks within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure an on-time start. - Orientation comprises 13 non-billable hours. This position provides an opportunity for travel nurses to gain valuable experience in a dynamic Labor and Delivery environment, while ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
