About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery **Job Specialty:** Labor and Delivery **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) **Guaranteed Hours:** Facility can call off once per two-week pay period **Experience:** 2 years required; first-timers accepted **License:** Valid CA license required; no temporary licenses accepted **Certifications:** ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, NRP **Must-Have:** - Ability and willingness to float between like units and all facilities within the state - Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last three years **Job Description:** - Work in a labor and delivery unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 - Responsible for participating in team-based patient care for mothers and newborns - Open to block scheduling at management's discretion - Required to work every other weekend - Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) - Participation in orientation and completion of required modules prior to start - Uniform requirements: Royal blue scrub color for Registered Nurses - Communication devices provided if necessary for work duties - Vaccination against COVID-19 required, with medical/religious exemptions allowed Note: Please ensure that your references and experience details are up to date. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
