About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Labor and Delivery **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night, 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) **Guaranteed Hours:** Facility has the ability to call off once per two-week pay period **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year required **License:** Valid CA License **Certifications:** ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP (Preferred: AWHONN Advanced) **Must-Have:** Labor and post-partum experience is required **Job Description:** - Orientation includes 36 or 40 hours at the start of the contract - First-time travelers accepted - Must be open to floating between units and potentially between affiliated hospitals - RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included during submission - Candidates must be willing to work two out of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) - Only one location submission allowed within the region - Requires specific experience with Epic charting - References must cover 1 year of employment within the last 3 years - Must adhere to a 50-mile local radius rule for applicants - Ensure all certifications are submitted before assignment clearance - Willingness to acclimate to provided scrub color coding - Completion of non-billable modules required pre-start and annually - Communication devices provided if necessary, or compensated for work-related use Candidates are expected to coordinate their own housing, as local options may be limited. Travelers' refusal to float may result in contract termination. Flu vaccine requirement is unknown. COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exemptions allowed.
