About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Medical Surgical **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum 2 Years of Medical/Surgical Experience, 2 Years Overall RN Experience Required **License:** For start dates 2-4 weeks out, must have Indiana or compact license in hand. For start dates over 4 weeks out, must have started the Indiana/compact licensing process. **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) **Must-Have:** - Management of dysrhythmias - Interpretation of dysrhythmias **Job Description:** - Candidates may need to float to different levels of care, including Medical-Surgical, Progressive Care Unit, and Intensive Care Unit. - Post-operative care for specialties such as Urology, Gynecology, Gastrointestinal, Orthopedics, etc., including some pre-operative care. - Mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccines unless a medical or religious exemption is provided with a doctor's note. - First-time travelers are accepted. - Charge nurse responsibilities may be needed, with training and resources provided. - Must work every other weekend, with potential for consecutive weekends based on operational needs. - Expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. - Units offer charge nurse pay, pending operational needs. - Orientation consists of 12 hours, not billable. - Completion of online training modules prior to start, averaging 6-12 hours.
