About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Med Surg **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Rotating 12-hour shifts, days and/or nights (not concurrent/back-to-back) **Guaranteed Hours:** Information not provided **Experience:** 2+ years Med Surg experience required **License:** New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required **Certifications:** - BLS (AHA) - ACLS strongly preferred - NIHSS - EPIC experience required **Must-Have:** - Willingness to work two of the following: Thanksgiving and the weekend after, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the weekend after, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day and the weekend after - Personal vehicle is a firm requirement for commuting due to the lack of public transport - Completion of de-escalation training from CPI, AVADE, or MOAB by 1/1/2024 **Job Description:** - Coordinate total nursing care for adult-geriatric patients. - Participate in patient and family teaching. - Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. - Must be willing to float within relevant units as required. - Adhere to the dress code by wearing traveler-provided professional scrubs with no logos. - Utilize EMR through Epic system efficiently. - Required to work every other weekend and holiday rotations. - Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at submission. - Completion of necessary orientation and specified certifications is mandatory before starting. **Note:** Covid vaccinations are strongly recommended but not required. Requested block scheduling will not be accommodated or considered. It's important that all required certifications and licenses be uploaded with the candidate’s profile for submission. Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are not considered.
