About The Position
**Job Title:** RN Clinical Nurse - Acute Care Float - Day **Job Specialty:** Registered / Licensed Nurse - Inpatient **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** Day Shift (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) **Guaranteed Hours:** **Experience:** Less than 1 year; Completion of an accredited/approved school of nursing with required clinical hours preferred **License:** Registered Nurse (Single State) or Multi-state Compact **Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS **Must-Have:** Basic computer skills, strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, excellent time management skills, and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment. **Job Description:** - Perform the Nursing Process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care using evidence-based practices. - Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care that adapts service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity. - Partner with the patient and significant others using appropriate methods for setting and purpose. - Practice current clinical care standards ensuring safe and quality patient outcomes. - Coordinate the delivery and documentation of patient care. - Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration, promoting respect and inclusivity in the clinical environment. - Participate in and support performance improvement activities to promote safe, quality patient care. - Complete all mandatory education and professional competency assessments. - Serve as a preceptor or mentor for professional nurses, staff, or students. - Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement. - Uphold all health care system policies, procedures, and clinical competencies. - Plan proactively for patient care across the care continuum. - Participate in the development of protocols and procedures. - Support efficient use of human and material resources. - Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all system policies, standards of work, and code of conduct. **Additional Notes:** Day shift includes working every other weekend and 2 major, 2 minor holidays.
