About The Position
**Job Title:** Clinical Nurse **Job Specialty:** Registered Nurse, Pediatrics **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 5x7.50 Hr **Guaranteed Hours:** 37.50 Hours per Week **Experience:** Minimum 2 years RN experience, plus 1-year travel experience preferred for travel positions **License:** Registered Nurse (RN) License **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) **Must-Have:** EPIC experience highly preferred **Job Description:** - Provide safe, competent, quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients. - Deliver patient care through a Relationship-Centered Care professional practice model. - Assess and evaluate patient care needs using critical thinking skills. - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. - Educate patients and caregivers about care plans, health promotion, and disease prevention. - Manage assignments within a Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. - Practice safe and efficient patient-centered care, identifying opportunities for improvement. - Implement quality improvement strategies and engage in peer and institutional review processes. - Perform charge nurse duties and coordinate with clinical managers to ensure supply and staffing needs are met. - Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. - Support professional development and encourage lifelong learning and innovation. - Participate in shared decision-making through specialty practice councils and unit initiatives. **Education:** - Bachelor's of Science with a major in nursing preferred. - An associate degree in nursing is considered with relevant experience or active matriculation in a BSN Program. **Languages:** - English (Read, Write, Speak)
