About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** NICU **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) **Guaranteed Hours:** Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of experience required; First-timers not accepted **License:** Valid CA license must be in hand; No temporary licenses accepted **Certifications:** BCLS, NRP **Must-Have:** - Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting - Agree to floating between all facilities within a given state **Job Description:** - Provide compassionate and specialized care to newborns in the NICU unit - Work with a team of healthcare professionals to maintain a ratio of 1 nurse to 3 patients - Fill in as needed for weekend shifts; ability to adjust to schedule as per manager discretion - Ability to float to the mother-baby unit as necessary - Coordinate and communicate effectively regarding patient care and department operations - Complete assigned modules, averaging 16 hours non-billable, as required for onboarding and annually - Commitment to working 3 out of 5 major holidays during the assignment (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) - Attend 40 hours of orientation as part of the start process Please submit your application to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals dedicated to supporting newborns and their families.
