Job Title: RN Operating Room - ENT/GU

Location: Dallas, TX

Shift: 8-Hour Day Shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), Monday through Friday, 5 Shifts Per Week (40 Hours Total)

Salary Range: $34 - $55 per hour, based on experience

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in ENT and GU surgeries. In this full-time position, you will utilize your skills to ensure high-quality patient care by using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. You will be responsible for both scrubbing and circulating duties in the OR, ensuring patient safety and smooth surgical procedures. The ideal candidate has experience in ENT and GU surgeries, particularly using the da Vinci XI or SP robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough patient assessments and identify surgical needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients undergoing ENT and GU surgeries
• Scrub and circulate in surgeries, ensuring sterile techniques and smooth workflow
• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patient vitals and condition during procedures and respond to any changes in status
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, medications, and patient care plans
• Promote patient safety and prevent complications through vigilant monitoring and clinical reasoning
• Educate patients and their families about pre-op and post-op care, facilitating informed decisions
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold evidence-based practices
• Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with fellow healthcare professionals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in the U.S. with scrubbing and circulating in the OR
• At least 1 year of experience in ENT and GU surgeries preferred, including da Vinci XI/da Vinci SP robotic systems
• Current RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or within 30 days of hire)
