YesPatient standing acute inpatient facility contracted ER 5 min awayAll patients come from an ED and are medically clearednot typical to have lines, drains, tubes, etc.Children and Adolescents receiving inpatient Mental Health services ages 5 - 18Common diagnoses include, but are not limited Disorders, Depression, Suicidal Ideation, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Gender DysphoriaTraditional medical and psychiatric care in addition to specialized therapies such as: pet therapy, group sessions, recreation therapy (rock wall), community gardensPatient 1:5-6; Night 1:16 with resource support (including Nursing support)Psych 6 Psych Techs; Night 3 Psych TechsRequired is obtained on site (part of orientation)Skills experience, experience with physical restraintsSupport on the Supervisor available evenings/weekendsNurse Manager - daysHouse Administrator - available overnight and weekendsCharge nurse has patient assignmentPsych TechsNurse Practitioner; on site until 1600 and then on call overnightPsychiatrist daily rounds and On Call 0000-0600Occupational Therapist 0800-1630, 7 days per weekSecurity on site will not respond to patient escalations (staff from all 6 units within the facility, to include Techs and Nurses, respond to patient escalations)Charting System/: If yes, where?Yes between two pediatric unitsOrientation:(facility and unit)2 weeks Mon-Fri - Days2 (12 s) on shift contracted rotation: every other; Sat/SunBlock scheduling cannot be guaranteedWill they be on call?
