Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury is a one-of-a-kind state of the art Skilled Nursing Facility located in Lake Katrine 5 minutes off of exit 19 on the New York State Thruway.

Northeast Center offers programs not found in any other nursing home in the region, and our RNs are offered a level of specialized education not found anywhere else. RNs who work at Northeast Center gain knowledge and skills that advance their careers while working in a supportive environment.

The Registered Nurse-RNprovides nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practice and regulations and as directed by the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities:

• Provides advice & support to the Residents and their families.
• Monitoring Residents and administering medication and treatments.
• Documents Resident care services by charting in Resident & dept. records.
• Protects Residents & staff by adhering to infection-control policies & protocols.
• Resolves Resident problems &needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
• Assures quality of care by adhering to Facility philosophies & standards of care.
• Supervising LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Maintains Resident confidence by keeping information confidential.

Requirements for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Valid RN License
• Must have up-to-date MMR vaccination & physical
• Must be in good standing with the State Registry

Job Types: Full-time, Part-Time, Per Diem
