One of our client, a non-profit, multi service agency with a flagship site in New York, NY is seeking for an RN Respite.
Position Type: Contract
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Tues-Sat 09:00am-05:00pm
Job Summary:
• The RN is responsible for the management and administration of medication within their scope of practice and in consultation with the attending physician.
• In addition to compliance with all organizational policies and procedures, the incumbent is also expected to behave ethically, demonstrate competence in effective communication and team building, demonstrate effectiveness in working in a collaborative environment, and demonstrate confidence in decision-making and in building relationships.
• This position reports to and is supervised by the Program Director.
Requirements:
• New York State Registered Nurse License Required
• Must have hospital discharge experience Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Experience with chronic mental illness and substance abuse individuals.
• Preference given to persons with experience on a multidisciplinary mobile team.
• Physical Demands Non-physical.
• Working Conditions General office environment.
