The salary mentioned above reflects the potential pay range for this role and bonuses or other incentives (if applicable), are offered separately. Offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.
Responsibilities:- Primary responsibilities include supervision of all nursing personnel and nursing related functions on a specific shift
- Duties involve assessing staffing and resident needs and directing care
- Works predominately with an adult geriatric population
- Serves as role model for staff through provision of safe, effective and efficient nursing care. Supervises clinical aspects of nursing.
- Manages day to day operations of Nursing Department
- Interfaces with others to insure efficient unit operations.
- Seeks opportunities for own growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain clinical competency
- Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university strongly preferred
- 1- 3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills a plus
- Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or skilled nursing facility
- Must possess a current CPR license
