RN Shift Supervisor

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Day, Evening, & Overnight shifts (32-40 hours per week)

Location: Vadnais Heights/Maplewood, MN (in-home group setting)

Job description:

The RN shift supervisor provides a combination of direct care by performing hands-on nursing, advocating for clients, collaborating with the clients, their families, and entire healthcare team, and supervising employees.

Major Responsibilities:

Represent the company’s values while maintaining a professional working relationship with others. Oversee and supervise medically complex clients in a group setting. Perform assessments and evaluation of effectiveness of goals. Advocate for the clients and ensure that they are in a safe environment. Follow all guidelines and stay in compliance with documentation, supervision, and policies. Provide skilled bedside nursing for clients and provide education to clients, family, and caregivers. Work with the overseeing Case Manager and be a resource to employees. Supervise nurses and provide oversight and education. Provide overall care coordination and play an active role in the client’s healthcare team.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• REQUIRED: Hold current RN license in the state of Minnesota
• REQUIRED: Hold current CPR certification
• Must have great leadership skills and ability to provide education
• Must have great communication skills and ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• Must be able to pay attention to detail and demonstrate critical thinking skills
• Must be able to work independently and prioritize with visits, tasks, and deadlines
• Must have basic computer skills with the willingness to learn new EMR software

Pay: $38.00-$40.00/hour
