Telemetry / Stepdown RN Compensation

• The pay for this position is $31.06-$46.59 position may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonus.

Telemetry / Stepdown RN Highlights

• This position is a direct hire position.

Telemetry / Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Cardiac Monitoring, Anti arrhythmia infusions. Post op Open heart surgery, thoracotomy, AMI/Stemi.
• Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
• Computerized charting, scanning of medications, telemetry.
• 2-hour shifts, every other weekend. No call. Holidays. Never alone.
• Floating to over units/departments.
• Only possible pull would be to medical surgical area.
• Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
• 30 bed unit
• Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.
• 1:4-6
• Dress Code:
• Navy Blue Scrubs

Telemetry / Stepdown RN Requirements

• Min 2 years recent Tele experience. Cardiac Monitoring experience.
• Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc.)
• Active BLS, NIHSS and ACLS - must be American Heart Assoc. Active MD or compact state RN license.
• Other Qualification:
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs., 100 lbs. shared lifting. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Must be able to take call. Demonstrate ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.
