About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Telemetry **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum 1 year **License:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Certifications:** CPR **Must-Have:** - Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation - Respiratory experience with advanced airways and oxygen management - Cardiac drips (not titrated) **Job Description:** - Provide care in a unit with 32 private rooms - Collaborate with a team including Charge nurse, RNs, PCTs, and Unit Clerk - Maintain a patient ratio of 5:1 - Use equipment such as GE Telemetry, Pyxis, Welch Allen Vital Sign Monitors, and GE B450 Bedside monitor - Utilize Meditech EMR system - Perform procedures like Stress tests, Heart Catheterizations, CABG, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, and manage Chest Tubes - Foster a team-oriented environment - Float to Med Surg, Med Surg Telemetry, and ED holding as needed - Follow a dress code requiring Navy scrubs - Work every other weekend, with no on-call requirements
