About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Telemetry **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Every Other Weekend Required. Holidays as Needed. Float Pool **Guaranteed Hours:** 36.00 per week **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience required **License:** NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license **Certifications:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam **Must-Have:** - Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of nursing - Telemetry experience **Job Description:** - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care - Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs - Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients through initial and ongoing assessments - Initiate assessments based on the patient's problems or needs, physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions - Manage care of patients - Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities - Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery - Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned **Schedule Notes:** The RN will be floated throughout the hospital wherever needed.
