NOW HIRING: RN Unit Manager
RN Unit Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with hiring, training, and managing nursing staff.
- Support the DON in daily operations and compliance with regulations.
- Provide reports and recommendations to the DON on departmental performance.
- Monitor staffing needs, absenteeism, and ensure adequate coverage.
- Participate in quality assurance and facility surveys.
- Oversee resident discharge planning and care plan development.
- Conduct daily rounds to assess care quality and staff performance.
- Ensure accurate nursing documentation and medication administration.
- Address and document staff and resident complaints.
- Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards.
- Foster positive relationships with regulators, families, and the community.
- Serve as acting DON or Charge Nurse as needed.
RN Unit Manager Qualifications:
RN license in New Jersey is mandatory.
Short-term skilled experience is necessary.
Previous experience in Unit Management (UM) is essential.
