RSO Practice Associate - Fortive Corporation

The **Radiation Safety Officer Practice Associate** will join our Radiation Safety Support team, reporting to the Practice Director. This will be a remote work opportunity within the United States, with flexible working hours. + Continue to grow a managed services offering leveraging best practices in delivering Remote Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) and Remote RSO Support services. + Manage and deliver services to customers efficiently with high quality. + Seek opportunities to upsell and grow region with Radiation Safety Support services and/or other Landauer products and services. + Performs consulting in at least two of the following areas: Nuclear Medicine (including regulations and licensing), PET, Radiological/Fluoroscopy Surveys, Ultrasound, or Radiation Safety. + Conducts auditing of nuclear medicine and radiation safety programs, including radioactive materials licensees and act as an RSO or radiation protection consultant. **Details of experience, and special skills required** + Demonstrated expertise to develop innovative services that are scalable and highly efficient using cost effective resources. + Demonstrated expertise and experience in two or more of the following areas of Radiation Safety practice: Nuclear Medicine (including gamma cameras and licensing), PET, Radiological/Fluoroscopy Surveys, or Radiation Safety Officer. + Demonstrate an ability to learn new technical procedures quickly in unfamiliar environments and to apply previous knowledge to unknown topics to accomplish appropriate results. + Use technical expertise along with excellent verbal and written communications to lead teammates or clients in accomplishment of equipment surveys or navigation of the changing regulatory environment. + Extensive experience with computer systems and the use of a laptop to perform daily duties, including cloud-based tools for workflow and file storage. **Fortive Corporation Overview** Fortive's essential technology makes the world stronger, safer, and smarter.
