Unit Notes
Position: X-Ray Tech (DI Tech II)
Schedule: 40 hours a week
" 10 hour days with a schedule between 7am 6pm
" Rotating weekends ~2 3 weekends a month as our Urgent Care is open 7 days/week (Palisades, Truckee, Tahoe City locations)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks with opportunity for extension if needed (will let you know 2 weeks ahead of time)
Experience:
" 3 5 years of experience (Orthopedic experience preferred)
" Ability to work in a face paced environment as these are all patients that come from urgent care so the volume can vary by day and clinic
" Expected to room patients, turn over exam room
" Note that no appointments are scheduled as this is an Urgent Care setting
" No fluro
Education:
" Certificate of completion from college or vocational school
o Successful completion of a Radiologic Technologist Program (College or Institutional Program) approved by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). The college program will grant a minimum of an Associate s Degree (A.S.) or Radiologic Technology program or equivalent
" American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
EMR: EPIC
Equipment: Philips Eyesight as PACS, Nuance (both trainable)
Call Requirement: None
BLS Requirement: Yes
