Located in the Phoenix Ariz. suburb of Chandler the Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 338-bed not-for-profit hospital with more than 2500 employees and almost 1000 doctors on staff representing all major specialties. Chandler Regional joined the Dignity Health system in 1999 but has been part of the community for more than 50 years. The hospital includes a Level I Trauma Center a Heart and Vascular Center a Wound Healing Center a Family Birth Center and many additional services. During the fiscal year ending June 30 2016 Chandler Regional provided more than $48 million in community benefit. As a result of Dignity Health’s mission to deliver health care and partner with the community nearly 100000 people in the East Valley were reached through community health services. Responsibilities
As our Radiographer at Chandler Regional Medical Center, you will help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions. Every day you could perform any variety of imaging examinations such as x-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, to name a few. You will also need to enjoy working directly with people as you play a huge role in the patient experience.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing precise results for timely and accurate diagnosis.
Responsibilities
+ Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients
+ Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order
+ Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity
+ Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
+ Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.
Sign On Bonus available - Amount dependent on years of experience
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 3 years Rad Tech experience
Graduate from an approved Radiological Technology Program.
Current BLS Card. Current AZ CRT. Current ARRT-R
Pay Range
$32.08 - $46.51 /hour
