APN Healthcare Solutions is urgently hiring multiple CT Tech for our client in Washington State for a 13 week contract with a high possibility of extension.
Position Title: Ct Tech
Pay Rate: Up to $85/hr
Work Location: Options in Seattle, Everett, or Richland Washington!!
Shift : Days or Nights. 8, 10, and 12hrs available!!
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
License Requirement: ARRT
Experience Requirement: 2 years
Job Title: Acute Care CT TechnologistJob Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Acute Care CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. As an Acute Care CT Technologist, you will perform complex diagnostic imaging procedures using computerized tomography (CT) equipment in an acute care setting. Your role is critical in providing high-quality imaging services to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with various medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans on patients, following established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
- Collaborate with radiologists to review and interpret CT images, ensuring accurate diagnostic information.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting procedures and any pertinent observations.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of CT equipment, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self.
- Provide patient education regarding CT procedures and address any questions or concerns.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of new CT technologists and other healthcare staff.
- Stay current with advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
- State licensure as required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT technologist, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in operating CT equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality imaging services.
