About the Job
- Mix and measure ingredients to form dough or batter for recipes, roll, cut, and shape dough to form rolls, pie crusts tarts, cookies, and related bakery products
- Cut, peel and prepare fruit for pie fillings, baking cakes, and preparing icing
- Training assistants and maintaining cleanliness of the bakery
- Maintaining records of customer orders
- Provide quality customer service and take cake orders
- Ensure cleaning supplies are stored separately
- Ensure cooler and freezer temperatures are correct and maintained
- Rotation of merchandise in accordance with labels and maintain department plan-o-grams and schematics
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: The incumbent must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities required for satisfactory performance. Detail oriented, read and write English/Spanish, follow instructions, ability to multi-task.

Education and Experience: High School Diploma, basic kitchen skills, familiar with food preparation in a bakery department.
