Real Estate Paralegal - Girrah Group

The primary responsibilities of this position will include:

• Ordering and reviewing title commitments, zoning reports, and ALTA surveys for financing, investment, and sale transactions.
• Preparing summaries, abstracts, and charts based on title exception reviews from various transactional positions.
• Analyzing CC&Rs, development documents, and REA filings to inform attorneys of relevant issues and obligations.
• Collaborating directly with title companies to resolve title exceptions and address third-party comments, ensuring the acquisition of Proformas/Policies with endorsement coverage.
• Securing proposals for commercial land surveys and conducting due diligence to ensure compliance with ALTA/NSPS standards and site-related issues.
• Ordering and reviewing zoning reports to check for code compliance and identify any violations.
• Drafting title objection letters and seller responses related to acquisitions and sales.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven track record of experience closing multi-site commercial real estate transactions.
• High degree of time management and organizational skills to prioritize/manage multiple projects at various stages of delivery.
• Self-motivated with proven ability to take ownership, initiative, and accountability.
• Positive, proactive, professional attitude with a team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal deal teams and external counterparties.
