POSITION PURPOSE:
Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. Greet and welcome guests with a positive first impression attitude on a daily basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Team player.
- Ensure daily temperatures are taken.
- Sanitize common areas 2x on a daily basis.
- Weekly company errands.
- Greet guests and direct guest employees as needed.
- Prep office for new employees.
- Stock copy machines.
- Responsible for maintaining and stocking the kitchen.
- Receive, sort, and forward incoming mail.
- Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Assist in the ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of office supplies and maintaining inventory.
- May also assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, and collating.
- Receive, direct, and relay telephone messages as needed.
- Assist in ordering lunches for the Executive team.
- Coordinate the repair and maintenance of office equipment.
- Provide additional administrative services as requested.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED.
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to utilize multiple word-processing and database applications including MS Office applications Word, Excel, Access, as well as Adobe Acrobat, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately, follow instructions, schedules, timelines and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively present information and respond effectively and sensitively to questions from client, managers, staff, and the public.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and make decisions, solve problems, exercise good judgment, work under pressure, and work with minimal supervision and prioritize workload.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The majority of the duties will be performed indoors.
