Our client needs your professional skills to be their “Receptionist” for approximately 7 weeks.
About Our Client:
This company is an architecture firm with a passion for creativity, structure, and making spaces come to life! Right now, we need a friendly face and a steady hand to hold down the front desk for about seven weeks. If you love being organized, enjoy greeting people with a smile, and can juggle a variety of tasks without dropping the ball, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities for the Receptionist position:
- Master of First Impressions: Welcome clients, visitors, and team members with a warm smile and a professional attitude.
- Call Guru: Manage our multi-line phone system like a pro—answering, directing, and taking accurate messages without breaking a sweat.
- Organizer Extraordinaire: Keep the front desk and reception area tidy and presentable.
- Mail & Package Maestro: Ensure all incoming and outgoing mail and packages reach their destinations promptly.
- Appointment Coordinator: Help schedule and confirm meetings and appointments to keep everyone on track.
- Jack/Jill of All Trades: Pitch in with administrative tasks like filing, copying, and some data entry.
- Supply Chain Hero: Monitor office supplies and restock when needed. No one wants to run out of coffee or sticky notes!
Qualifications for the Receptionist position:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or admin role (especially in a creative office setting) is a plus!
- Strong verbal and written communication skills—you’re the type who can make "Can I put you on hold?" sound like a pleasant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Positive, can-do attitude with a focus on top-notch customer service.
Assignment Duration and Perks of the Gig:
- Approximately 7 weeks (potential for an extension or could be less based on the return of the current Receptionist)
- Competitive hourly pay: $15 - $17 per hour
