Receptionist - Apple Valley Care Center

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be a high school graduate.
2. Must have at least 6 months in an office performing office support duties.
3. Letter position skills, grammatical skills and typing skills of 55 wpm. Knowledge of word processer.
4. Filing capabilities.
5. Ability to work in a health care setting which often includes working with the aged, chronically ill and disoriented persons.
6. Ability to understand and complete tasks promptly.
7. Clean, neat in appearance and appropriate dress for business office.

 REPORTING: TheReceptionist   reports to the Administrator.

JOB DUTIES:

1. Answer incoming calls and route them to the proper department.
2. Greet visitors and answer all questions to the best of your knowledge or direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
3. Type correspondence for administrator and department heads.
4. Filing correspondence, forms, records, contracts and agreements.
5. Maintain and update telephone and cable lists.
6. Filing as directed.
7. Maintain AP files.
8. Update vendor contract information.
9. Process invoices and update Administrator weekly.
10. Keep Physicians Credentialing Log current.
11. Order all office supplies.
12. Write out receipts for all bank deposits.
13. Pass out employee checks.
14. Keep copy room organized and all forms current.
15. Pass out faxes.
16. Send, separate and collect mail.
17. Schedule beauty shop appointments.
18. Follow up with corporate office and vendors for past due invoices.
19. Any other duties as assigned by the Administrator.
