About the Job
Adecco Staffing is looking for an Administrative File Clerk to work in a one of the fastest growing law firms in New Orleans, LA . The position is ideal for someone seeking experience in a law firm environment. Duties include electronic and hardcopy filing, scanning/OCR documents, and creating and maintaining client notebooks. The successful candidate may also assist in trial preparation as well as learn litigation software and paralegal duties, depending on the team assignment. This is an entry level position.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain paper and electronic files in compliance with internal policies
Find and retrieve information from files in response to requests from team members
Scan/OCR documents
Read incoming materials in order to determine how and where they should be classified or filed
Prepare documents for offsite storage and confidential disposal
Maintain client notebooks
Assist in trial preparation
Learn and utilize litigation software
Some receptionist duties on a multiline system
Conference room preparation and setup
Requirements:
Familiarity with MS office and file management suite
Some office experience preferred
Ability to work independently
Critical reasoning and personal judgment required
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Hours: 8am - 5:00pm - Monday - Friday

Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
