Receptionist and Massage Therapist - Island Therapy Center

Combination position for experienced and licensed massage therapist with customer service experience.  Massage Therapy services include Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point release, medical massage and other modalities pending therapist skill and experience.  50 or 80 minute sessions scheduled.  Key responsibilities for front desk duties include greeting clients and patients, scheduling, document management, scanning, cleaning and other office duties.  15-20 hours per week off season and 20-30 hours per week during season.  Massage therapy services with $45-$55/hour compensation plus tips, with $15/hour compensation for front desk duties when not providing massage therapy sessions.

Massage Therapy:  Clear, active Florida license with at least 2 years experience with varied styles of massage.  Experience with medical massage and deep tissue/myofascial approaches preferred. 

Front Desk:  Proficiency in managing scheduling software and navigating office software expected.  Excellent customer service skills and friendly/helpful attitude.  Ability to maintain clean and inviting office atmosphere.  Exemplary communication skills verbal and written expected.  Experience in office setting, preferably spa or medical required.  Close commute to Sanibel or living on Sanibel Island an asset.
