Our high-profile law firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Receptionist to become a part of our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who thrives in a busy work environment and is well-versed in coordinating tasks. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the legal industry.
Responsibilities:
As our Receptionist, your role will be diverse and all-encompassing. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Serving as the first point of contact for our clients, both in-person and over the phone, providing outstanding customer service at all times.
2. Coordinating food and beverage services for meetings and events, ensuring that all dietary requirements are catered for.
3. Processing incoming and outgoing mail, including courier packages, registered mail, and legal documents.
4. Maintaining the aesthetic appeal of our office by caring for plants and flowers, ensuring they are always healthy and vibrant.
5. Handling printing, faxing, and assembling documents as required in a timely and efficient manner.
6. Assisting with other administrative duties as required, such as scheduling appointments, filing, and data entry.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate for the Receptionist position must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 1+ years of experience in a receptionist role, preferably within a legal setting.
2. Strong proficiency in office technology, including multiline phone systems, printers, fax machines, and computer software such as Microsoft Office.
3. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and senior management.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
5. Experience with coordinating food and beverage services for meetings and events.
6. Proven ability to maintain office plants and flowers.
7. A positive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
8. A high school diploma is required, and a bachelor's degree or certification in office administration or a related field is preferred.
