Receptionist - On Call
As an On-call Receptionist, you will be an integral part of the administrative team, stepping in to ensure seamless front desk operations during periods when the primary Receptionist is unavailable and out for sick days, PTO etc. This position requires a highly flexible, proactive, and organized individual who can effectively manage reception duties, providing a warm and professional welcome to guests, handling incoming calls, and supporting various administrative tasks.

PAY RANGE: 22.00hr
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
- Manage the reception area, maintaining a tidy and welcoming environment.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, managing conference room bookings, and preparing meeting rooms.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and couriers.
- Provide administrative support including photocopying, faxing, filing, and data entry as required.
- Support the coordination of office events and meetings.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Microsoft Teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, covering for the primary Receptionist as needed.
