Receptionist Part Time - Promenade at Chestnut Ridge

The Promenade at Chestnut Ridge is seeking a part time receptionist  every Saturday and Sunday from 5pm - 8pm 

The receptionist is often the initial contact and first impression of the assisted living community. They are responsible for greeting visitors, handling both external and internal calls from residents, taking and passing on important messages and monitoring the entrance area for resident safety and cleanliness.

The front desk must:

Maintain a professional atmosphere

Maintain confidentiality, protect residents rights and dignity

Answer phone with a smile and "can do" attitude

Sorting of mail for management and residents

Maintain all inter home correspondence books

Manage daily census

Manages availability of marketing brochures and collateral.

Qualifications:

Ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English

Able to work flexible hours as needed

Able to multi task

Excellent Customer Service Skills

Experience handling telephones

Ability to work with management staff

Ability to relate to residents and families

Ability to relate to vendors

Good Organizational skills
