Receptionist - The Californian

• Must hold a high school diploma.
• Should have a minimum of 6 months experience in an office handling administrative tasks.
• Proficient in letter writing, grammar, typing at 55 wpm, and knowledge of word processing.
• Ability to manage filing tasks.
• Capable of working in a healthcare environment, interacting with elderly, chronically ill, and disoriented individuals.
• Prompt task completion and understanding of tasks.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance with suitable business attire.

• Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
• Welcome visitors and provide information or guide them to the right personnel.
• Assist in typing correspondence for the administrator and department heads.
• Organize and file correspondence, forms, records, contracts, and agreements.
• Update and manage telephone and cable lists.
• Follow filing instructions.
• Organize AP files.
• Update vendor contract details.
• Manage invoices and provide updates to the Administrator weekly.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Administrator.
• Maintain the Physicians Credentialing Log.
• Order office supplies.
• Prepare receipts for bank deposits.
• Distribute employee checks.
• Ensure the copy room is organized and forms are up to date.
• Distribute faxes.
• Sort, send, and collect mail.
• Schedule beauty shop appointments.
• Follow up on overdue invoices with the corporate office and vendors.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Administrator.
