Job Details: This position is a Full-time, Onsite role. Reliable Transportation is required.
- Answer and direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system.
- Greet and assist guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail deliveries.
- Handles Billing Charges: Batches, scan, uploads to Avisena system.
- Picks up transmission of billing charges from SHAREFILE.
- Accept credit card payments and log to spreadsheet.
- Contact clients when charges are received.
- Handles basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and record keeping.
- Assist with office supplies inventory and ordering of supplies.
- Send Billing Tickets and pre-paid envelopes to clients as needed.
- Maintains spreadsheet of when and where they were sent.
- Handles subpoena of records and sends out invoice.
- Work in Medclarity system locating patient accounts and pulling records.
- Handles Medical Records request from Third party representing insurance payers.
- Provide information about the organization to clients and visitors.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Attends all required meetings and performs any additional duties as requested by Management.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity in Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel) is helpful.
- Familiarity with ADOBE Acrobat (helpful but not required).
- Strong organizational and able to multitask with desire to function in a face paced team environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
