Receptionist Position

Badger Alloys a full service sand foundry is looking for a professional and well organized Receptionist. The reception is responsible for answering phones, greeting visitors/customers in a professional and efficient manner; monitors the lobby area sign-in/out, cleanliness and customer appointment of staff; and other various clerical duties to support the organization.

Summary:

Badger Alloys is seeking a professional, self-starter, friendly receptionist to represent our team and serve as the first point of contact for guests visiting our office from 8:00am- 4:30pm Monday through Friday.

Duties:

• Receive, forward telephone calls, take messaged, give general information as appropriate
• Place calls to staff, family members, or other agencies as directed by supervisor
• Prepare and send correspondence as directed; Duplicate and correlate documents
• Greet and direct visitors/customers
• Monitor and maintain sign-in/sign-out logs
• Assure lobby area is neat, clean and pleasant
• Assist visitors/customers as needed
• Maintain filing system
• Sort/deliver mail; Postage outgoing mail (certify, return receipt when necessary)
• Assist with typing and collecting documents for management team as requested
• Type quotes (mail/fax when necessary)
• Assist customer service, sales, shipping when needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of previous experience as receptionist or office support
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Microsoft Office experience
• Ability to manage multi-line telephone system
• Must possess the ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work as needed.
• Possess good organizational and communication skills
• Display friendly, positive, helpful attitude
• Spanish bilingual a plus
