We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager to join our Record to Report (R2R) function. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the relationship with our 3rd party provider, driving transformation initiatives, and ensuring robust governance practices. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of our financial reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Management:
+ Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and the 3rd party provider.
+ Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders at the 3rd party provider.
+ Monitor and manage service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure performance meets company standards.
+ Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise with the 3rd party provider promptly.
Transformation Initiatives:
+ Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the R2R function.
+ Lead and drive transformation projects aimed at optimizing financial reporting processes.
+ Collaborate with internal teams and the 3rd party provider to implement best practices and innovative solutions.
+ Track and report on the progress of transformation initiatives, ensuring timely and successful execution.
Governance and Compliance:
+ Establish and enforce governance frameworks to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
+ Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
+ Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues within the R2R function.
Collaboration:
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and Operations, to align R2R activities with overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or CPA/CMA certification is required.
+ Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a multinational organization.
+ Strong understanding of record to report processes and financial reporting standards.
+ Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with 3rd party providers or outsourcing partners.
+ Excellent project management skills, with a track record of leading transformation initiatives.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
