This is a Remote Work position. U.S. Citizenship is required, and Employees must live in the United States, no exceptions.
This position requires candidates to pass a public trust background investigation.

Job Summary

This Records Management Specialist (NARA experience) position will deploy and update records schedules, prepare transition to electronic records, and provide close out services as defined by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). Perform records management program activities like responding to inquiries, ensuring program offices meet federal compliance requirements, analyzing inventories, and performing risk assessments.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Weekly summary report due the first day of work week.
- Provide meeting notes for all meetings.
- Provide document review and updates to Standard Operating Procedures as requested.
- Provides all tasks covered under the Service Level Agreement timelines.
- Provide guidance on and coordination of records creation, organization, maintenance, use, evaluation, preservation, and disposition throughout their lifecycle.
- Liaise with multiple program offices on records management topics.
- Provide feedback and analysis on internal and external records management governance documents, including policies and procedures.
- Assist with the development of inventories and file plans, draft and process new and updated retention schedules.
- Develop and deliver records management curricula and topics, either routine or ad hoc.
Qualifications and Required Skills
- At least 2 years of experience with records management.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in information management related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Knowledge of NARA systems, ERA and ARCIS (preferred).
- Detailed understanding of records management laws, regulations, and practices for federal records Management.
- Experience creating or maintaining records inventories, file plans, tracking methodologies, and retention schedules.
- Exposure to electronic records management including document or case management systems.
- Work well in a team environment and able to work independently.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen residing in the United States.
- Must be able to pass a Federal Background Investigation.

Posted Pay Range
The projected compensation range for this position is: $60,000 - $70,000 (annual USD). In addition, this position is eligible for growth team discretionary bonuses.The posted compensation range reflects the expected pay range at time of hire, however base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for this position, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, certifications, market location, and job-related competencies. Employees hired will be in an "at will position."
