Recreation Assistant

Cold Spring Hills Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is looking for a dedicated Recreation Assistant with strong creative and interpersonal skills to assist in the day-to-day operation of its Recreation Department.  The Recreation assistant conduct a variety of group recreation programs based on resident’s abilities and preferences to encourage and promote resident participation.

 Successful Candidates must be companionate, creative, energetic, and enthusiastic with the desire to enhance the quality of life of residents.

 Qualifications:

• Team player must be willing and able to lead and participate in onsite recreation such as cooking, sports, dramatics, nature study, social recreation, games, and arts and crafts per residents' needs.
• Pleasant, respectful, personality with proven ability to interact with residents and all levels of Management.
• Understands care sufficiently to identify and communicate resident changes, problems, or needs.
• Must be computer literate and possess strong administrative and organizational skills.
