Position: Recruitment/Family Engagement Coordinator

Location: Central Office (Supporting Avondale, Glendale, and South Mountain Campuses)

Salary Rate: $40,000 annually

As the Recruitment/Family Engagement Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a thriving school community. By supporting student enrollment, registration, and providing weekly enrollment reports, you will ensure the growth and success of our students. Your key responsibilities include:

• Creating and implementing targeted strategies to meet and exceed enrollment goals.
• Conducting off-site and on-campus recruiting initiatives to attract new families and scholars.
• Represent and articulate the mission and values of Sun Valley Academy to prospective families, ensuring they feel welcomed and informed.
• Facilitate on-campus parent programs to strengthen relationships between the school and families.
• Enhance engagement and communication with families through regular and effective social media management.
• Address enrollment inquiries promptly, maintain accurate records of interested families, and update contact information regularly.
• Work closely with front office staff to ensure all student enrollment information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Assist incoming students and their families with the registration and enrollment process, making their transition smooth and welcoming.
• Provide informative and engaging campus tours for prospective families.
• Be available for periodic weekend events to support recruitment efforts and represent SVA at community activities.
• Perform other duties as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to carry and transport equipment necessary for recruitment events (up to 50 pounds).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate's degree in Elementary Education, Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Human Resources, Social Work, Business Administration, Education Administration, or other related field.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on maintaining confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SIS systems, and database management.
• Previous experience in a K-8 school setting and social media management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Human Resources, Social Work, Business Administration, Education Administration, or other related field.
• Bilingual (Spanish).
